Here at Outside the Box Papers, we’re all about preparation and enjoying each and every bit of the planning process. Like we always say, when it comes to a birthday party or a holiday dinner, it’s nice to let go of the stress and soak up the fun stuff. From picking out your centerpiece accents to setting the mood, every part of the design prep is an integral step in creating a top to bottom experience. That’s why today we wanted to bring you some feel good inspiration in the form of moodboards. We have three different moods and feelings in mind for a Valentine's Day party, dinner or just a simple get together for you and your gal pals. We took bits and pieces of quintessential V-Day decor and paired it up with some of our favorites. Take a peek and be inspired by our Valentine's Day table moodboards!

Winter-Flavored Inspiration: Powder Blue Days

Winter is in full swing! Some of us have seen a touch of snowy and lots of icy cool temperatures. I've been drinking something warm and cozy from Starbucks on the daily and I've added several new scarves to my cold-weather collection. And that means my home has taken a wintery-weathered hit as well. I've added lots of frosty-hued inspiration, including those minty greens we saw just a few weeks ago. And today, we want to inspire you to decorate your next dinner party or centerpiece ideas by using a bit of powder blues! It's serene and delicate, it pays homage to the season but it also breathes a sense of design and fashion-forward appeal to any space. And like we love to do, we’ve put together 3 small moodboards to help inspire your next luncheon or neighborhood swap, of course, with the inclusion of our favorite color this week … the purest of powder blues!

Light Blue Paper Straws

Add some marshmallows and some sprinkles too when whipping up a batch of some delicious and warm peppermint, white hot chocolate. It's sweet and sultry and the light blue straws make this easier (and more fun) to sip for the kiddos but also looking nice and winter-esque with the combination of light and creamy colors.

Chevron Paper Sweet Sacks

Use our sweet sacks to hold the silverware during your next casual luncheon or dinner party. The blue brings in that icy, cool classic winter style but it also keeps things relaxed and inviting. We love the pairing of powdery blues and rustic settings as well, it makes for a great brunch style for your gal pals!

Blue Birthday Paper Placemats

Whose birthday is coming up in the next few wintery months? Use powdery blues, and maybe even pops of pastel or fuscia pink, to make a wintery escape for the birthday boy or girl. Take these placemats for example, their festive, the colors are light and bright and they make for a great foundation for the most perfect birthday tablescape.

New Year's Eve Table Moodboards: The Right Feelings & Vibes

Here at Outside the Box Papers, we’re all about preparation and enjoying each and every bit of the planning process. Like we've said before, when it comes to a birthday party or a holiday dinner, it’s nice to let go of the stress and soak up the fun stuff. From picking out your centerpiece accents to setting the mood, every part of the design prep is an integral step in creating a top to bottom experience. That’s why today we wanted to bring you some feel good inspiration in the form of moodboards. We have three different moods and feelings in mind for a New Year's Eve party or dinner, so we took pieces of the season, paired them up and created a spot to help inspire the night. What do you want this year’s midnight to look like?

Shiny Future New Year's Eve
(1, 2, 3)

A bit more of a modern take on the traditional, metallic New Year's style. Design a table full of the shiny golds, charcoals and silvers, but add your own slick twist to every part of the landscape. From posh placemats and invites to cork favors, your guests will thrive in a stylish, yet cozy New Year's calling.

Colorful Youth New Year's Eve
(1, 2, 3)

It's natural to just go with silvers and golds for a New Year's Eve celebration. But why not go with something a bit more lively and youthful. With a bit of color you can transform an average New Year's dinner into a wild and trendy party and tablescape. From colored twinkle lights lining the dining room, to bright pink chargers on the table, get crafty and inspired!

Sparkly Glamour New Year's Eve
(1, 2, 3)

And a personal favorite of mine, sparkling glamour. From the plates to the food, glitter works for every holiday or celebration. Dress up yourself and have your table decked out in sequins and sparkle. You'll start the new year off with pop, pizazz and lots of style.

Winter-Flavored Inspiration: Minty Green Holidays

It's finally here! Snow is on the horizon and the temperatures have dropped. Hot cocoa has become an everyday staple and the biggest decision of the day is not whether to wear boots but which boots to wear. It's wintertime! And that means lots of frosty-hued inspiration. Decorate your next dinner party or centerpiece idea by using a bit of minty green. It's youthful, it pays homage to the season but still infuses a feeling of life and vibrancy. We've put together 3 small moodboards to help inspire your next luncheon or neighborhood swap, of course, with the inclusion of our favorite color this week ... the mintiest of mint greens!

Green Paper Straws

Use some of our bright green and white paper straws to highlight a mint chocolate milkshake or frozen hot chocolate. The grassy shade will highlight a table filled with lighter, winter greens while making it feel stylish and effortlessly monochromatic-modern.

Christmas Party Pack

Use our party pack to start your cookie swap planning off right. Paired with a minty green tablecloth and your homemade mint chocolate cookies, your guests will become "green" with envy. The mint green serves as a solid neutral to your darker shades of green, bright red and fun print paper designs in our packs.

Red and Green Crepe Paper Basket

Use our red and green crepe paper baskets as favors! Send your guests home with some of those mint chocolate cookies or even some after dinner mints! Serve your homemade mint chocolate fudge in these cute baskets and lay them on the counter to be picked up. Again the mint green tones down the harsher, quintessential holiday colors while keeping the style more subtle and frosty for wintertime.

Thanksgiving Dinner Moodboards: The Right Feelings & Vibes

Here at Outside the Box Papers, we're all about preparation and enjoying each and every bit of the planning process. When it comes to a birthday party or a holiday dinner, it's nice to let go of the stress and soak up the fun stuff. From picking out your centerpiece accents to setting the mood, every part of the design prep is an integral step in creating a top to bottom experience. That's why today we wanted to bring you some feel good inspiration in the form of moodboards. We have three different moods and feelings in mind for this year's Thanksgiving dinner, so we took pieces of the season, paired them up and created a spot to help inspire the night. What do you want this year's holiday to feel like?

Playful and Bohemian Thanksgiving(1, 2, 3, 4)

If you're inspired by ethereal fabrics and free-spirited styles, then you may need to start prepping for your playful and bohemian Thanksgiving! From falling leaves on the mantle to muted autumn colors, think about using a mixture of rustic, modern and eclectic pieces to create the most perfect whimsical and magical tablescape.

Reminiscent and Modern Style(1, 2, 3, 4)

We're loving the colliding styles of both vintage and modern pieces. The retro-inspired, mini pies and ceramic apple bowls to the white-out tablescape; this moodboard hopes to fulfill a love of class and sophisticated all while dipping the night in old-age spirits.

Warmth and Rustic Thanksgiving(1, 2, 3, 4)

Sometimes it's nice to stick to a bit of tradition and keep things warm and welcoming. Thanksgiving has a tendency to bring out everyone's rustic-love. From wooden tables to country accents, it's okay to stray away from the contemporary trends and go with rich colors and lots of textural pieces.
